ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Albany Police Department has released the name of the 23-year-old man killed in an alleged stabbing on Saturday. Daval Byramas of Troy died at Albany Memorial Hospital due to his injury.
Albany police responded to the hospital at about 10:05 p.m. when Byramas entered the emergency room with a severe stab wound. According to authorities, Byramas and the suspect — identified as 33-year-old Kyle Crayon of Albany — knew each other and had gotten into a physical altercation on Ontario Street near Third Street.
Crayon, who is accused of stabbing Byramas with a knife then fleeing the scene, has been charged with second-degree murder. He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court on Sunday morning.
