Teen girls among four victims in Rochester shooting; investigation underway

Rochester police are investigating a shooting that left four people injured Monday evening.

Around 7:15 p.m., officers from the Clinton Section responded to reports of a shooting on the 100 block of Hollenbeck Street, police said. Upon arrival, they discovered four victims with gunshot wounds. Officers applied tourniquets to two of the injured before all were transported to area hospitals, police said.

The injuries are considered non-life-threatening, police said.

The victims include three females, aged 14, 15, and 19, and a 20-year-old male, all Rochester residents.

Hollenbeck Street was temporarily closed between Avenue D and Avenue C but has since reopened.

No suspects are in custody at this time.

Anyone with information is being asked to call 911.

The investigation is ongoing.
