CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — The suspect from the deadly shooting outside the Southgate Mall in Chambersburg was identified on Tuesday by police, who say he is wanted is considered dangerous.
Joshua Bresnick, 32, is wanted on a criminal homicide charge stemming from the fatal shooting that killed Rakeem Floyd, 20, of Chambersburg in the shopping center, according to a news release by Chambersburg Borough Police.
Bresnick is considered to be armed and dangerous, police said. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police at 717-264-4131.

Police said they did find the van that was associated with the shooting, however the release did not state exactly when or where the vehicle was found.

The shooting outside the mall happened on Dec. 18, around 6:45 p.m. Police said they got a report of a shooting and rushed to the scene. Floyd’s body was found on the roadway after they arrived.

Witnesses have reported that there was a fight before shots were fired, police said.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Pennsylvania State Police assisted borough police in the investigation.
