Off the Beaten Path: Seoul Korean BBQ Restaurant 

COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Seoul Korean BBQ Restaurant recently opened its doors. It is owned by MiJung Kim. For Kim, it’s an opportunity to serve up a taste of home.

Kim also owns Seoul Korean Restaurant in Latham. She wanted to open up a traditional Korean barbecue restaurant to honor her late husband, Steve Yun, who was active military. Yun died from cancer last year.

The restaurant offers traditional, authentic Korean barbecue with grills on each table, in additional to Korean food staples. They say it’s more than a meal, it’s an immersive experience.

The staff will cook the food at the table in front of the guests or you can take matters into your own hands and become the chef. It is choose your own adventure!

Seoul Korean BBQ Restaurant is located at 1770 Central Ave. in Albany. Their hours of operation are as follows:

  • Sunday: 12 -8 p.m.
  • Monday: 11:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday: CLOSED
  • Wednesday-Thursday 11:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
  • Friday- Saturday: 11:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
