
After storms moved through metro Atlanta and north Georgia overnight Saturday and into Sunday morning, several communities are reporting damage.
Strong wind combined with heavy rain have caused trees across metro Atlanta to fall, many on power lines and homes.

Crews have been working throughout the morning to clear roadways blocked by trees.
Channel 2 Action News has confirmed reports of a tree falling on a home along Andiron Court in DeKalb County.
Channel 2′s Eryn Rogers was out at a house fire during Channel 2 Action News Sunday AM on Nancy Creek Road in north Atlanta where power lines had also come down.

Viewers have also shared photos and videos of trees down on power lines and homes in Cherokee, Jasper and Lamar counties.
According to Georgia Power, at least 21,000 of their customers are currently without power in metro Atlanta. More than 12,000 of those customers live in Fulton County.
The Georgia Electric Membership Corporation reports another 8,700 people across metro Atlanta are without power.
